Job DescriptionAs the Director of Sales, you will provide leadership and direction to the regional sales team ensuring successful achievement of revenue goals, deepening client relationships and professionally representing Exponential in the marketplace.


Responsibilities:
• Develop, and execute sales strategy that results in revenue growth with agencies and advertisers in region, and adhering to corporate sales strategy, methodology, approach and policies
• Insure market coverage, increasing awareness of Exponential, identifying and developing strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects, management of business pipeline and revenue forecasting
• Effectively coach sales executives to achieve revenue goals
• Evaluates talent against competition and is responsible for ensuring that Exponential has the best possible individual based within each market
• Strive to continually improve the teams prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Provide continual input and assessments to sales management in order to drive ongoing improvements in sales strategy and approach
• Deliver assessments of Exponential’s performance in each territory, evaluation against competitions, risks, opportunities, and a plan for maximizing performance
• Identify, coordinate, and attend all promising local marketing and advertising association events
• Ensure fiscal responsibility as it relates to sales forecasting



Minimum Qualifications:
• 7+ years experience in online ad sales
• Sales management experience preferred
• History of personal quota achievement
• Solid rolodex with key agencies and clients in the region
• Experience devising and implementing successful territory strategy leading to revenue growth
• Experience in developing sales teams (training/recruiting/coaching)
• Experience in a start-up/entrepreneurial environment
• Experience in working and managing a regional office

• Experience with selling all facets of digital advertising including: video, CTV, display, mobile, etc.

• Strong, consultative selling, negotiating and coaching skills
