Job DescriptionExponential, a global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions, is looking for a Sales Executive to grow an existing book of top advertisers & agencies and drive new revenue opportunities within the NYC region. The Sales Executive is responsible for managing key clients through day-to-day contact, seek opportunities to grow relationships and ensure that our clients consistently receive superior customer service. The successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive, well organized, and able to demonstrate the ability to sell complex digital solutions.


Responsibilities
· Identify and generate new sales leads through effective prospecting - including competitive analysis, data analysis, and industry trends
· Manage and grow an existing book of business
· Develop strategic relationships with top agencies and advertisers
· Work with the sales leadership, account management and performance strategy teams to maximize sales and profitability
· Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
· Identify and develop a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
· Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients
· Develop winning sales strategies across display, video, and mobile advertising platforms
· Accurately forecast revenue growth
· Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to generate renewals and increase incremental revenue
· Effectively win deals by using a consultative, value-oriented approach that resonates with decision makers

Required Skills
· Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value, not price
· Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization
· Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
· Proven track record of exceeding individual revenue goals
· Driven, passionate, and an ultimate team player

Qualifications
· BA/BS required
· 3-5 years digital sales experience in online advertising or ad technology
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills
· Deep relationships and contacts with top digital agencies & advertisers in the NYC region
· Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
· Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying & planning
· Comprehensive knowledge of digital campaign performance metrics and analysis
